If you have a steel bumper, a winch, or a heavier engine, choose springs with a higher load capacity—designed to handle the additional weight. Standard springs are suitable for a vehicle without modifications or front-end add-ons. Improperly selected springs can cause the front of the car to sag and limit suspension travel. Properly selected springs ensure the correct ride height and driving comfort.

If you frequently carry heavy luggage, have an auxiliary fuel tank, an off-road body kit, or a roof rack, choose springs with a higher load capacity. Standard springs are suitable for vehicles without a permanent rear load. Springs that are too soft can cause the rear to sag and impair handling. Properly selected springs ensure stability and ride comfort, even when loaded.

There’s no need to replace the control arms, but you’ll need to add a drop box or Proflex control arms, and while you’re at it, replace the front control arm bushings. Add these two products to your cart.
