Manual battery disconnect switch (battery isolator \/ master switch) for 12V\/24V systems. It has a removable red key and a rubber protective cap. It cuts power to your winch and the whole vehicle electrical system in one turn. Rated 150 A continuous and 500 A peak (5 s), with copper contacts and M8 terminal studs.<\/p>\n
Remove the key and the electrical system is isolated. This prevents short circuits, stops the winch from being switched on by accident, and reduces battery drain when the vehicle is parked for a long time. The removable key also works as a simple anti-theft measure.<\/p>\n
